Compared to the "A" model, this "K" variant is slightly narrower and limits the RAM to two slots, which is usually sufficient for gaming and general productivity (supporting up to 64GB). It also swaps the Wi-Fi module for a simpler wired-only setup, though it keeps the high-speed 2.5Gb Ethernet port.


One notable feature for DIY builders is the inclusion of Q-Latch, which allows for tool-free M.2 SSD installation—no more tiny screws to lose. It also features ASUS 5X Protection III, a suite of hardware safeguards including LANGuard and overvoltage protection to ensure long-term durability. While it is an entry-level B760, it still provides Digi+ VRM control for precise power delivery to the CPU, making it a stable choice for i3 and i5 processors.
